Celery Soup

With the work from home schedule, lunch is usually a soup-salad meal.

Last week, I decided to try a celery soup given my resolve to add in more of the health benefits of celery into my diet.

The recipe at https://www.feastingathome.com/celery-soup/ looked so inviting! It was another recipe shared by a dear friend. She had made it and really liked it and since she knew I was looking for more ways to eat my celery she recommended it to me. I am so glad she did! I could use celery, onions, dill and parsley from the farm in the soup!

The celery from the farm includes the celery leaves as well - which I fried to be a crisp garnish on top of the soup. Delicious! Fresh vegetables make all the difference in a recipe. I didn’t have the nigella seeds at hand to use as garnish but my friend said that they really added another layer to the flavor and were delicious. So I will definitely try them the next time I make the soup.
