Cori’s award winning Broccoli salad

One of the neighborhood sites in Los Altos had a friendly competition on the best recipe to use the fresh farm produce from that week. Cori won with her Broccoli salad inspired by one of her favorite salads from the local store. A box of fresh strawberries, and bragging rights for Cori, and yet another way to use Broccoli for the rest of us!

Recipe

For 2 people, approximately:

- 2+ cups florets

- 1/2 c. raisins

- 1/2 c. dried cranberries

- 1/2 c. red or green onions

- 1/4 c. cashews

dressing - whisk together:

- 1/3 c. mayo

- 2 tsp. red wine vinegar

- 2 tsp. sugar

- 1/4+ tsp. salt

- 1/4 tsp. pepper

stir together, refrigerate for 1-2 hours
